Things that Go...

So after a TON of planning, yesterday was finally Chase's 2nd Birthday Party... I am happy to say that Mother Nature cooperated this year which I was thrilled with (the weather was not perfect, but definitely good enough!). The party was a ton of fun and we were so lucky to have tons of close friends and neighbors join us to celebrate!

You all know by now I am a bit obsessed with party planning, so I really wanted to do some fun stuff for his party. Picking a theme was kind of no brainer. Chase loves anything with wheels, so I decided to do a "things that go" theme with cars, trucks, trains & planes. I had a lot of fun with all of the decorations, but my favorite was the desert table. It was a huge hit with the kids and the adults, who doesn't love desert?

On to Audrey's party now... She will not stop talking about her birthday so I have some major pressure delivering a perfect party for her... If she could only pick a theme we would be all set!

The Mississippi Delta...

We went down to Greenwood, Mississippi last weekend for Charlie's cousins wedding and had a blast. It was quit a trip down there (3 hour flight + 2 hour car drive) but it was well worth it. His entire family was there and it was great to spend time with everyone. The best part is the cousins getting together (young & old). We don't get to see each other more than once a year, but make it count when we do. The girls had an awesome time together, and Chase held his own... Congrats to Chris and Shelby! They are a beautiful couple and we wish them years of happiness!

Two Years Old...

My baby boy turned 2 today! I cannot believe that it has been 2 years already, I say this with every birthday I think, but it is so true... I remember giving birth to my "little" boy like it was yesterday... Chase is the sweetest little boy. I am so in love with his personality, it is a wonderful mix of laid back, playful and attitude all in one (don't mess with the kid!). His birthday has been fully celebrated already and there is more to come. We were lucky enough to see all of Charlie's family this past weekend and celebrated with them. Tonight the 4 of us celebrated with some balloons, cupcakes and gifts (what more could you ask for at 2?). His actual party is on Saturday and are excited to celebrate with our friends... Fingers crossed for good weather!
