{one} month old...

So I have been on a blogging hiatus the past several months...Life has been a little crazy to say the least, and honestly I have not had any interest in doing it. But with the arrival of our third, I am determined to start back up. I really enjoy looking back and seeing how the other 2 kids have grown on here, this is the only place I keep stats and my thoughts on each phase of their life.

So we begin again a little bit into Grayson's life but not too bad, 1 month old... I'm such a broken record but I am just in shock how quickly time is flying! He is really just the sweetest thing and is proving to be what I hear to be a typical third kid... He is mellow and doesn't require much other than to be fed and to get his naps in. He spends a good amount of time in his car seat for better or worse driving his siblings around but he doesn't seem to mind. I can not tell you how lucky I have been having him this winter. It has been SO mild and has let us get outside almost everyday. I really thought I was going to be couped up the entire time I was home with him and for my sanity thank goodness that is not the case!

We had his 1 month appointment the other day (he was actually 5 weeks) and while he is not as big as his big brother, he is certainly holding his own. He weighed in at 11 lbs 3 oz (90th percentile) and measured 23 1/2 inches (95th percentile). He is doing awesome as far a eating and weigh gain, but the poor thing has had a cold the past several weeks and we found out it has developed into bronchialitus. The cold has basically gone down to his chest and he is constantly trying to get all that mucus up. He is fine and it doesn't seem to be affecting him much, we just need to watch him, but I do feel horrible...
