One of my neighbors told me about this Corn Festival in a town near us that was this weekend. Sounds kind of funny, but I thought it could be fun and seemed like a good activity to get us out of the house on a gorgeous fall day. It turned out to be pretty fun... It had a bunch of stuff for the kids, a hayride, animals, games, a guy making balloon sculptures (Audrey got a princess hat, whatever that is). And then there was the food, corn chowder in a bread bowl plus lots of other things, yumm... It was a good introduction to fall. It is here and I am pretty darn excited. Football has start and apple picking is around the corner, can't wait!

aww man. long sleeves and jeans already? i'm jealous. it was 95 here yesterday for their first soccer games. i'm also jealous of corn chowder in a bread bowl. sounds fantastic.
